Always Your Friend's Paw & Nose ointment moisturizes & protects the skin. It is filled with organic & essential oils. Keeps the skin soft & is anti-inflammatory. You do not need to break the surface of the conditioner. The heat from your hands will melt the conditioner & transfer to your fingertips. From there, just rub the conditioner in gently & let it absorb. In case of dry skin, wounds or infection, repeat the procedure at short intervals (Preferably 2-3 times per day) until the problem is solved.
